Garmin’s latest HRM strap has more features and is rechargeable. While many heart rate straps are dependant on paired devices, the HRM 600 can be used on its own. Onboard memory records your activities when your watch or phone aren’t around, letting you go fast and light. Internal sensors tell you more than ever about how you train, including the running dynamics you expect from the HRM Run, and the pool-time memory from the HRM Swim and Tri. Plus, all of your daily in activity tracking data. Oh, and the strap is machine washable strap, because sometimes it is the little things that feel like a real upgrade.
- Real-time heart rate data is transmitted to compatible devices, equipment and apps
- Internal accelerometer measures torso movement to calculate pace (Garmin watch exclusive), cadence in steps per minute, vertical oscillation of your torso (measured in centimetres), ground contact time measured in milliseconds, and activity tracking data. If you combine the HRM 600 with a forerunner 970, there are even more running metrics, like running economy – which tells you how efficient you are and step speed loss – which tells you how much speed you lose when your foot touches the ground.
- Memory stores training and daily activity data, great for pools or activities where a watch cannot be worn – data is uploaded to your device when in range
- Internal Li-ion battery runs for up to 2 months with 1 hour of training per day, and battery status is displayed in Garmin Connect™
- USB charging means no more coin cell batteries.
- Supports heart rate variability and advanced heart rate features
- Communicates via Bluetooth™ (5.0) and ANT+ (2.5GHz)
- Supports stand-alone activity monitoring (steps, all-day heart rate, calories and intensity minutes) and TrueUp™
- Machine washable strap – just make sure you unsnap the sensor before popping it in the laundry.
- Sizing: XS-S 60–85 cm (23.5–33.5in.), M-XL 80–119 cm (31.5–47in.)
- Soft rounded edges are comfortable to wear
- Water resistant to 50m
