There’s no arguing with the grip of a clip. OneUp set out to merge the stability of a flat with the efficiency of a clip, and this pedal is the result. The Clip Pedal manages to have a large platform with pins that actually work, and a light design — a combination that is surprisingly hard to find. Clipless pedals can be kind of thick, and when you’re smashing through rock gardens, thick is bad, but these pedals are the thinnest clipless mountain bike pedals on the market — meaning fewer pedal strikes. And since they are designed for use with 2 hole SPD cleats, you get a tried and true cleat design that works great and is easy to get at any local bike shop.
