Float along effortlessly on overnight or multi-day backpacking trips. A redesign for the Eos Packs gives them a slimmer lumbar pad and a cut-out channel down the back to improve ventilation. The lid converts to a waist pack, so you can bring a few items on shorter trips. Thiner tubing for the frame saves weight while still transferring the load effectively to your hips.
- Trail Motion™ hipbelt pivots up to 12 degrees in either direction to stop the pack from swaying and to limit the associated energy loss. Stabilizer straps let you reduce the range of motion when you’re traversing more complex terrain
- Back panel is rigid plastic with a lightweight aluminum frame for stability
- Cut out in the back panel creates room for your head and allows you to look up and turn your head freely
- Back panel is covered with mesh and the foam is dimpled to let air circulate
- Access the main compartment through a rolltop spindrift collar with upper and lower drawstrings, and a large u-shaped zipper
- Hipbelt is padded with thermo-moulded and EVA foam and has x-shaped articulation to ensure it sits correctly on your hipbones
- Zippered pockets on hipbelt give you quick access to a GPS or other small items
- Interior flat pocket next to the side zipper for small items
- Lid has a zippered pocket, under-lid pocket with key clip, and 2 attachment points for securing a helmet or crampons
- Strap under the lid secures a sleeping pad, jacket, or rando rope
- Internal sleeve for a hydration reservoir (not included) with right side hose routing
- Water-resistant front pocket with rolltop closure and drainage port is excellent for wet items
- Mesh side pockets hold water bottles
- Lightweight trekking pole attachments are made of cord with adjustable tension locks
- Glove-friendly zip pulls throughout
- Comes with a medium sized hipbelt, but you can substitute other sizes to personalize the fit
