Mohair reinforced with nylon offers a super-secure hold when going uphill and has very good gliding characteristics. Because the mohair fibres absorb only a small amount of moisture, the skins are less likely to build up with ice and snow. The nylon reinforcing fibres provide good grip and add durability.
