The Unicore treatment from Beal links the core and sheath together to limit movement between the two parts. Dynamic ropes that use this technology tend to retain their sheath diameter (it doesn't thicken over time), stay suppler, have better handling, and last longer overall than ropes without. This is a good, effective rope with nice handling characteristics for a stouter line.
