The largest of our Mountaineering tents is all about liveability and lightness. Its fairly flat top lets you use every inch of floor space (though you might need to knock snow off the roof occasionally). The stretched geodesic dome design uses just four poles. That keeps the per-person load low, while maintaining the strength to cope with anything short of full-on expedition use.
- Fits four full-length sleeping pads comfortably, with room for a fifth in a pinch
- Large twin vestibules allow changing clothes and storing gear outside the sleeping area
- Two zip-out mesh roof skylights, zip-out mesh doors, and hooded window vents minimize condensation even at maximum occupancy
- Poles attach with clips for lighter weight and faster set-up
- Ten guy line anchor points allow rigging for heavy wind
- Improved guy lines are stronger, reflective, and have mitt-friendly tensioners
- Pegs are a mix of Easton Gold round pegs for easy driving and Y cross-section aluminum pegs for strength and holding power
