Bottom up or top down, the Smart Alpine belay device does it all. A belay and rappel device, it provides a dynamic assisted lock off when belaying a lead climber or climber on top rope. It can also be used in autoblock mode off a fixed anchor to belay one or two seconds from the top of the climb.
