Offsets have 2 small lobes and 2 large lobes will seat in a flaring crack that would otherwise yield sketchy placements. They have single stems with ultra-narrow heads that can be fiddled into shallow cracks or pin scars. Flexible stems bend over edges and don’t cover crucial finger holds.
