Coat the uppers of your climbing shoes to increase friction and repair nicks or fissures in the rands and soles. Apply a light, even coat of glue to a clean, dry surface, then in the lid mix 2 parts rubber grind to 1 part glue. Apply the mix, spreading and rolling it into a smooth coat, and tapering the edges to prevent peel-back.
