Bindings for track skiing, the Salomon® Nordic System (SNS) uses a pivot located at the boot tip for good control and lateral stability. A steel clamp holds the pivot bar located at the toe of the boot sole. The clamp operates automatically when stepping in and releases with the tip of a ski pole. A full-length ridge / groove under the boot helps steering and downhill manoeuvres.
