- Outer shells made of windproof, highly water resistant GORE™ WindStopper® fabric
- Insulated with 4 layers of MEC SL100 Hyperloft: 2 layers sewn to the shell and 2 layers sewn to the liner
- Internal shockcord at ankle snugs them tight. Extension cuff with shockcord closure keeps out spindrift and deep snow
- Lined with 50-denier brushed polyester with a thick polyester fleece footpad
- Sole uses 12mm of EV50 (cross-linked polyethylene) foam for insulation with 6mm EV50 foam in the heel-cup
- Abrasion resistant and grippy outsole tread
