This is an even lighter and more compact version of the wildly popular Original Hennessy Hammock – the Ultralight Backpacker stows into a stuff sack about the size of a water bottle. Often you need only a thin sleeping pad, if any, saving additional weight and bulk.
The finer, higher-thread count fabrics used in this Ultralight model make it more resistant to mosquito “bite-through” (the heavier fabrics used in the Expedition model make it more suitable for regular heavy use, and give it a 50 pound greater rated weight capacity).
The unique “walk-in” bottom entrance seals with Velcro®. A small mesh gear pocket is suspended from the ridgeline. A no-see-um netting inner is included. Either side of the rainfly can be rolled away or rigged to any angle.
