An innovative, auto-locking, self-belay device for roped solo leading or top-roping. The drum mechanism works similarly to a car seatbelt – it allows the rope to feed freely at a slow steady pace but locks in the event of a sudden or abrupt jerking motion.
- Made of CNC machined wrought aluminum and stainless steel – no cast or stamped parts
- For experienced climbers with an expert understanding of advanced rigging techniques. As with all solo climbing mechanisms, back-up systems are critical
- Catches falls at any orientation. Does not require a chest harness
- Includes an instruction manual that describes the device's limitations, (such as operation in cold, wet settings) and warnings associated with its use
