The Powerview is a folding roof-prism compact that will fit in a shirt pocket. Magnification is 8x, which with the 21mm objective lenses and pretty basic lens coatings gives a workable view under daylight conditions. These are perfect binoculars for anyone who may be rough on their gear – good as first binoculars for someone just starting out, or for travel, where theft or loss is often a concern.
