An effective repair method for gouges, holes, and base damage near ski edges. The powder and sheet combination makes repairing black graphite bases relatively easy. Can be used to fill an area (near an edge for example) that would otherwise require a commercial base weld.
- Gouge out any loose material and clean up the area to be repaired
- Pour in the powder and heat it using the attached plastic release sheet
- Wait for it to cool as per the instructions and peel the release sheet free
- Scrape flush and wax the base as you normally would
