Peenuts have offset sides that tend to seat better than symmetrical designs in flared cracks or pod-like pin scars. Furthermore, the bottom back corner is shaved off for optimum security in bottoming placements. Despite these features, the micro-nuts work well in straightforward slots as well, although care must be taken to seat them and gain optimum contact.
